| My first impression of him, he was easy going and quite friendly. I can say, he is one of the best Japanese riders that I have met. Because of he is living in Europe for a long time, he has very good mental balance between European culture and Japanese culture. For that reason, he is very popular in Japan as well as Europe. |

| My first impression of him, he was very serious and pure person. After about six months working together, I am confident my first impression was correct, and he has some humor as well. Because he is really direct feeling sometimes, I believe he must like Japanese SAMURAI. Anyway, I'm happy to work with him, and trust him. |

What do you think about Shinya? |

| He is a very accurate rider.His machine setting ability impresses me so much. Besides, he understands very clear how to get the best lap while also trying to find the best machine setting for race. This is indispensable for GP riders. He's from 250cc, so some say his riding style is like 250cc, but it's not at all. He adapts to the MotoGP big bike very well, making use of his talent. Moreover, he has very big combative spirit for the race because he is a top rider. To be real top rider, he needs to get good rain setting, even though our machine character is not really fit for rain condition. This is only one weak point of him. |

| When I moved to Team D'antin last year, I met him first time. I knew him before, but I hadn't talked a lot with him. Because He grew up in Brazil, he has both Japanese spirit and decisiveness as Europeans. Besides, he maintains this balance, and is a excellent engineer. Always, he has a serious face, so some people think he is grumpy. However, he is usually thinking various things for us, and we trust him very much. Additionally, his wife is ex-stewardess and so cute. One day, I'd also like to know how I could have a stewardess's friend like him! |

| I was working with him from last year. One of the reasons why I came Kawasaki, it is because of his advised and he come to Kawasaki together. He is a really fit person for chief engineer because he has talent, takes the leadership and I place my trust in him. He is pure and a serious person, but also a little playful. I think he is fit for Japanese woman, so please remember our Andrea. |

| I start working with him from 2003 as well, and I know he is excellent computer engineer. He is not a talkative person during his work, but when he gives advise to me, it is very precise and helpful. When you first meet him he seems kind of quiet but over time you find that I can talk to him about anything. |

| From when I was working in Japanese championship, Shinya was really out to beat the person I was working for, because I was working with his competitor team. Therefore, I was surprised when I knew working with him. I've already received his talent from at the time, and he is the perfect person for so called Works Rider. Moreover, he is not only professional but also a easy person. |

| When I met him first time, I was astonished. Behind the scene, when I was riding in Japan in 1998; he was working for Daijiro Kato' mechanic in HRC. Of course, I remember him, and I have never expected that I would work with him. About his working, he is very suitable for mechanic, and always keeps my bike nice and shiny with polishing. He notice small thing, so I can really trust in him. |

Uwe was Harald Eckl's mechanic from when he was riding in WGP, so he has a lot of experience.
He has a strong sense of responsibility, and if some trouble has happened, he feels sorry even though it's not his fault. Now, we are trusting each other, so it not happen, but in the beginning of this season, he was worried about if I wouldn't trust him because of small things. |

Jason is from Australia, and he is usually showing signboard for me. In my original imagination, Australian is big-hearted, cheerful, and don't care about small things. Moreover, his look is also like that. When first time I met him, I thought he is this kind of person.
